BlueTactic, a teen pro gamer, has received a US Presidential Academic Award, one the of the highest awards for high school students.
As an honors student, Blue has developed an interest in not only playing games, but developing them. Last year, Blue attended UCLA’s Game Lab Institute, where he learned how to create several different types of games from beginning to end.
In addition, ever since he began playing the game of MineCraft at age 10, Blue built his skills in designing intricate buildings, which has grown into an interest in architecture.
This summer, Blue was accepted into Columbia University’s pre-college program, where he will take classes in both architecture and business.
